Hello, my decorating divas! I am sitting in Florida on the west coast. It is warm and sunny and really makes that spring itch start. Every year when I return from Florida, I itch to spruce up my space for spring. Do you feel the same? That warm weather comes and you need to rejuvenate your space too? It is common. The smallest changes can create a huge impact in your home. So you are thinking, Jennifer, I cannot decorate my home. My budget is tight right now. So let’s dive into 5 inexpensive ways to re-style your spaces.

First we need to discuss the Pantone Color of the Year for 2017. The hot color is Greenery. When you look at this color it screams refreshing, rejuvenating and revitalizing. Everything about it reminds you of spring. New trees budding, grass growing in your lawn and bushes popping with color. So, of course, this color is amazing! With that, it is bright and bold! It is a color that frightens many because they are afraid it will be too much. Tackling that fear and finding ways to incorporate Greenery will add pizzazz and color to any space.

5 Inexpensive Ways to RESTYLE With Pantone’s Greenery

1. Accessories: are a simple way to bring this hot color into your home!

Pillows, accessories and throw blankets will rejuvenate any space. What perfect ways to liven up for Spring! Adding small vases, boxes and books with green will also revitalize the winter drap and get you ready for the warmth of spring.

2.  Apples:  This sounds absurd, but what color are Granny Smith apples? Bingo!

Apples are a simple, easy and modest decor trick. Granny Smith Apples are the perfect color to accent your space. This is a fun, natural way to style your room. It can be used in the dining room, kitchen and living room.

3.  Plants:  Although it seems obvious, we all need to be reminded that adding Greenery to your space is as simple as adding plants.

Adding plants to your space refreshes the indoor air, bringing in nature and life always brings new beginnings.

4.  Wallpaper:  Don’t be afraid!  This is a simple way to add Greenery color without a long-term commitment.

Check out the self-adhesive, easy repositioning, sticky wallpaper. In simple terms, it is an extremely high-quality contact paper for your wall and will not damage it! What fun you can have with wallpaper now!!

5.  Mix and Match:  Mixing Greenery with other colors will create drama or tone down the green.

Adding Greenery to your white kitchen will create a modern, fresh minimalist style. Mixing Greenery with last year’s colors of rose quartz and serenity blue will be revitalizing. Greenery mixed and matched with black and white or navy and white is rejuvenating and dramatic. You can use patterns of varying sizes, different colors and it will all look cohesive put together.
