A Note From Jennifer

Jennifer Lynn Interiors didn't start with design. It started in a classroom. I spent 16 years as a teacher before founding Jennifer Lynn Interiors in 2015. And honestly, that's still how I approach every project. I read the room, I listen first, I meet people where they are. Because good design isn't about having the best taste in the room, it's about helping you feel confident in your decisions. So I'll explain things, I'll walk you through it, I'll probably repeat myself if something really matters. That's just how I am. And in the end, you won't feel overwhelmed, you'll feel clear. Every project starts the same way: with your life. Maybe it's a bathroom that actually works for you now, a home that finally feels quiet, a kitchen where people gather naturally. We design for those moments; for real life, and the small details that make a home yours. Because that's the difference. People hire designers for rooms. We design around the life that will be living in those rooms, specializing in whole-home and multi-room interior design in the Hudson Valley and beyond. My eye for color, pattern, and texture, really took shape when I was 20, studying abroad in Seville, Spain. It completely changed how I saw space. Not just how people live in it, but how they move through it and gather in it. That perspective still shows up in our work today. We layer fresh color with grounded neutrals, embrace clean lines with classic forms, and combine beauty with function. Because a home should look good but it should also work for you. On a Tuesday morning. When you're tired. When the house is full. When life is just... life. Home to me is my husband, our three daughters, and our dogs. But it's also something bigger. It's where you unwind, where you host, where you recharge, where you're unapologetically yourself. And I'm not going to lie, one of the best parts of this job is knowing that when we get it right, people use their homes differently. They invite friends over more, they sit at the table longer, they actually live in their space. Full homes, full tables, full hearts. That's really the goal.
