As you walk through showroom after showroom at High Point Market, one thing becomes very clear… design is not about choosing between styles anymore. It’s about the blend. These are the design trends from High Point Market Spring 2026 that stood out most to us: a beautiful mix of modern with a twist of traditional… and traditional with a twist of modern. Sounds simple, but the execution? So good.

Let’s talk color…
Gone are the days of playing it safe. This market was full of warm, rich, saturated tones that instantly draw you in. Deep browns, moody greens, dramatic burgundies… colors that feel grounded and elevated all at once.
And the best part? These hues weren’t overwhelming. They were used with intention. They were layered through upholstery, case goods, and accents to create depth.

Texture, texture, texture!
If there was one thing we couldn’t stop noticing, it was the use of texture. Bouclé is still having a moment, but it’s evolving. We saw fringe, trim, ruffles, and tactile fabrics being used in such a refined way.
It’s no longer about adding texture just to add it… it’s about creating dimension and interest that you can actually feel.

Patterns made their statement… again.
But this time, with a twist. Traditional patterns were reintroduced in fresh ways especially through wallpaper. We saw so many beautiful patterns come to life on the wall, becoming the focal point rather than just a background detail.
From updated florals to classic motifs reimagined in richer tones and larger scales, wallpaper felt bold, intentional, and incredibly refined. It was often paired with more modern furnishings, creating that perfect contrast of old and new.

The details we haven’t stopped thinking about…
We also couldn’t stop noticing the decorative objects that quietly stole the show. Sculptural, organic-shaped clay vases that felt almost hand-formed in motion, sitting perfectly imperfect. And then there were the moments of color. Small, intentional hits of brightly colored decor that added personality without overwhelming the space.
It was all of these details working together that made everything feel so considered. Not just designed, but curated.

Design Takeaway: What Does This Mean for Your Home?
