Today is Mood Board Monday! I created a Living Room and Dining Room Inspiration using a neutral color palette that is comfortable and cool. The idea is based on an open floor plan showcasing the living room and dining room together.
For my restyle, the client wanted a transitional style. They were looking for simple lines, no clutter ad fun textures in a simple palette. What is great about this palette is any accent color can be added seasonally. It is a great way to add pop and interest to a room! My Mood Board Monday – Living Room and Dining Room Inspiration lends to both spaces feeling connected, cohesive and beautiful!
My client has a brown couch and dining room table they wanted to keep. For Mood Board Monday, I used the couch as my center to create the remaining design. My Living Room and Dining Room Inspiration used blue hues to add texture and balance to the brown couch. The rug is a beautiful focal point. Who said a rug cannot be a focal point? Focal points do not need to be on the wall or an architectural element all the time.
In the Mood Board Monday – Living Room and Dining Room Inspiration design, greys, silver and tans are added with wall color and pillows. As we move into the dining room, navy dining room chairs flank the length of the table. The grey dining room chairs will balance the ends of the table. These chairs will tie into the beautiful curtains that will be located in the living room and dining room. Tie each piece, texture, style together allows the space to feel complete!
Mood Board Monday – Living Room and Dining Room Inspiration is a fun and exciting way to show you my ideas, inspiration and style.
