Contemporary Entertainment at our Jeffery Lane Project

Diving into this contemporary style home and making it unique to our clients was so invigorating. JLI was consulted to make the basement area an entertainment hub for a their family as well as their extended family and friends. We needed to optimize the chopped up floor plan that JLI coined as “The Fun House” because we had unexplained angles and niches we had to work through.

Multiple walls were removed, as well as windows and doors. During our working relationship, we added a second full kitchen, renovated two bathrooms, added a guest room, lounge area, and bar. In addition, we designed the space to be the perfect place to entertain all year.

Games, pool table and dart board was added as well as a changing room for the pool days! To wind down, a little reading nook was carved out under the stairs. We creatively and collaboratively with our clients we decided to add a mattress in the reading nook as an extra place for guests to sleep. With full trust in the process, our clients were ecstatic with the final result.
